  • Reccelerate have recently finalised our fifth assignment with a global big 5 retained search business! The newly appointed research consultant will be supporting a high profile team of senior recruiters covering capital markets, investment banking, alternative investments, equities, insurance and hedge funds (to name a few). We are very pleased to be able to deliver this critical/strategic search for our trusted client and thank them for their continued support and trust in Reccelerate.

    The incumbent will add signifficant experience and well as language capabilities (Mandarin, Cantonese and English) to the exisiting group as they continue to make impressive strides in China as well as Hong Kong, South East Asia and Internationally.

  • Reccelerate were recently engaged by a globally recognized hybrid recruitment business to identify and onboard a new Director to lead and grow a talented team of financial services recruiters based in Hong Kong.

    Following an extensive mapping exercise, hours of phone discussions, in person meetings, scheduling and coordinating interviews the Reccelerate team managed to deliver the project within a 7 week timeframe. The new imcumbent will oversee a broad spectrum of financial services sectors and cover mid to senior level placements from front to back office

  • In early 2021 Reccelerate was engaged (exclusively) by an exciting startup to support the hire of an experienced Actuarial recruiter. The team quickly and efficiently mapped the Hong Kong market within a few days to ensure a robust and comprehensive candidate search was made possible.

    From assignment commencement to successful completion the project took roughly 5 weeks. The client (a specialist in mid to senior Insurance and financial technology recruitment) has now grown their team to 5 members and has further engaged Reccelerate for a 6th hire for Q1 2021.

  • The Reccelerate team is pleased and proud to announce a third successful placement with one of our valued clients. The team has been working closely with this US-based Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Education Executive Search business for the past 4 years - firstly engaged in detailed competitor and market mapping for their fields of expertise (sharing valuable insights, intelligence, and updates as the organization navigated towards a Southeast Asia launch) before carefully supporting the hiring for their new business unit in Singapore.

    Having made two successive placements in Q2-2019 and Q3 2020 we were delighted to be engaged for a third time in December 2020. Having previously mapped the Life Sciences recruitment space for Singapore this really helped to drastically reduce the delivery time for this assignment and together with our deep understanding of our client's business and growth strategy we were able to manage and conclude the search smoothly and swiftly.

  • The Reccelerate team was engaged by a global recruitment brand to support the expansion of their Hong Kong business. With the business having already gone through some significant transformation and leadership changes earlier in the year the organization had identified technology as a key growth area that required Reccelerates help. This particular assignment took the team approximately 6 weeks from initial engagement to delivery.

  • Despite challenging, market conditions brought about by the ongoing global pandemic the Reccelerate team has recently completed another assignment for one of its valued clients based in Tokyo, Japan.

    Working from Tokyo the new incumbent will be joining a growing executive search team focused primarily on recruiting for banking and traditional and non-traditional financial services clients (CFO, CEO, Trading, Private Banking, Wealth & Asset Management, FinTech, Corporate Banking, Virtual Banking, Insurance, Funds, Hedge Funds...).

    Delivery of this particular search was approximately 4 weeks and was supported by Reccelerates highly capable research team who have been proactively gathering market intelligence across South East Asia, Greater China, and Japan for nearly 6 years.

  • The Reccelerate team have recently delivered another retained search in the healthcare and life sciences space for one of the largest healthcare executive search specialists in the world.

    Over the past few months Reccelerate has worked diligently to identify key recruiters with deep experience placing senior executives with hospitals, clinics, medical device firms, pharmaceutical businesses and other healthcare related organisations in Asia.

    The finalist was selected from a shortlist of highly skilled and experienced pool of research consultants each having spent more than 10 years building their careers in healthcare recruitment in Asia.

    Based in Singapore the new incumbent will join and support the efforts of a newly formed team of recruiters who have been tasked with establishing and growing our clients Asia business.

  • Reccelerate is pleased to confirm another successful placement with one of our clients in Tokyo.

    This particular project required the team to identify and onboard a high potential research professional to compliment a growing retained executive search team focused on supporting a broad range leadership level mandates in financial services and banking (fintech, investment, private and corporate banking, insurance, private equity, hedge fund......).

    The finalist was selected for their prior track record working in customer-facing environments, language skills (native Japanese and English) as well as their determination to pursue a career in executive search.

    This will be the second placement that the Reccelerate team have executed for this client in Japan in 2020.

  • Very pleased to announce that Reccelerate recently completed its latest Healthcare placement for one of the world's largest independent Healthcare search businesses.

    Given the recent challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and the very real demand that this has created in the healthcare industry globally the conclusion of this particular search has been pleasing on a number of levels notwithstanding supporting our valued client with launching their new Asia platform.

    This leadership level search involved identifying and interviewing seasoned operators in healthcare search based in Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, China, Australia). Additional challenges included interview and assessment across multiple time zones which required careful planning and coordination to ensure a smooth and seamless process.

    Our original mapping list included just under 300 candidates total - with the finalist being selected from a shortlist of 3. Aside from being able to introduce a high caliber million-dollar producer to our US-based client, they were also able to benefit from the extensive research and market intelligence gathered along the way which will continue to add value to their new Asia business.

  • Reccelerate have recently delivered another Country-level retained search for one of our long-standing clients in Asia. As part of a succession exercise, the Reccelerate team were mandated to identify a Thai national with a background in executive recruitment as well as mid-level search.

    The Thai market has traditionally been a tough market when it comes to identifying experienced search talent with many operators tending to relocate staff from other locations as a workaround. This particular route has been described as a little hit and miss when it comes to discussing effectiveness and results - mainly due to the steep learning curve and lifestyle adjustment required to be based in Thailand.

    Having the right level of cultural awareness and sensitivity, a firm understanding of Thai business practices and a natural ability to connect with Thai people at the decision-making level is not easy but is vital!

    The finalist was selected from a pool of candidates which included those who either had an interest in working in Thailand but were based elsewhere in Asia or they had previously worked in Thailand and were looking for the right opportunity to return. All of the candidates had their unique strengths and weaknesses as well as plenty of value to add to the business but the final selection was made based on the incumbent being Thai, an overseas education background, along with more than 12 years in executive search.

  • Reccelerate were recently retained to identify and onboard a new Managing Director for their Manila business unit. The search was thorough and challenging and deep-dived into not only the candidate pool in the Philippines but also into other emerging markets that exhibit similar challenges and relevant skill and quality sets.

    The incumbent was selected from a long list of experienced recruitment leaders working in the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

    Ahead of the finalist being selected the search focused on the candidate's prior track record in growing and developing profitable recruitment businesses in emerging markets as well as his/her alignment to the organization's core values; integrity, respect, accountability, teamwork, boldness, and fun.

  • Reccelerate was retained by a long-time client in September 2019 to identify and onboard an experienced regional leader for their SCM business. Based in Singapore the incumbent will be responsible for driving business growth through building greater synergy, enhancing business development, and internal key client development amongst the SCM teams across 6 business units in Southeast Asia.

  • The Reccelerate team has recently placed a Senior Recruiter to focus on IT&T for one of Hong Kong's most progressive mid-sized hybrid search businesses.

    The new incumbent comes with more than 10 years of recruitment experience spanning Australia and Asia and has previously partnered some of the world's top technology businesses, software houses, and service providers.

  • The industrial sector in India is one of the fastest-growing areas in India's economy accounting for over 27% of GDP and 17% of total employment. In order to better align their business to meet the growing demands for hiring in this highly important area Reccelerate were engaged on a retained search to identify and onboard a senior recruiter with expertise in hiring at the upper mid to senior executive-level across manufacturing, heavy industry, automation, aviation, chemicals.... Reccelerate once again produced an extensive market map that covered all major cities across India - this resulted in the identification of a number of interesting and high-value options for our client. The finalist was selected for their nearly 20 years of recruitment and commercial experience recruiting and working in the industrial market. Total search duration 8 weeks.

  • The Reccelerate team has recently placed an experienced Executive Director into one of India's preeminent retained executive search business. The search consisted of an extensive market mapping exercise which took approximately 2 months and identified all of the senior level BFSI retained search professionals working in 1st and 2nd tier cities across India. The finalist was selected for their extensive 22 years of experience partnering with multinational and national financial institutions and investment business within Mumbai and nationally. Their track record in delivering CXO level searches and supporting on organizational change, business growth and myriad mission-critical tasks will help drive the next phase in our client's development within one of the fastest-growing and exciting markets in the world. The total delivery time took 3 months end to end.

  • Reccelerate was once again retained by one of Asia's largest Executive Search businesses to fulfill a Country Head mandate. The process took several months to complete but was indicative of the thoroughness and exacting requirements required from the search.

    The search began with an extensive mapping exercise which spanned Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, and China with the finalist being identifed in Singapore.

    The completion of this strategic and critical hire will enable the client to further cement their status as the largest and most progressive search business in Asia in addition to expanding the experience and, knowledge base at executive management level.

    This search marks the 5th Country Head search successfully executed for the same group.

  • The Reccelerate team are excited to announce that we have just placed our first Talent Acquisition professional in Tokyo, Japan. Our client (Silicon Valley Cloud Technology Business) had specific requirements for a seasoned TA with a track record of wroking with fast paced/high growth tech businesses. After an extensive and slightly more challenging search than anticipated the team were able to deliver a finalist within 10 weeks, end to end. Japan proved to be a very unique and interesting market for Rec 2 Rec businesses such as ours notwithstanding the obvious language barriers, fairly closed nature of the market, in addition to a highly competitve market served mainly through referral.   • Reccelerate were retained by one of the Asia's largest executive search businesses at the beginning of 2018 to identify and onboard a new Managing Director for their Bangkok BU. The new incumbent was identified amongst a large list of experienced and qualified candidates in a search which spanned, Asia through to Europe. Following a thorough and often complex process the Reccelerate team were successful in relocating and onbording the finalist this month. We have learned a tremendous amount with regards to navigating the Thai Visa/Work Permit Process, engaging professional services experts on the ground in Bangkok, as well as ensuring a smooth transition for our client and candidate - skills and experience that will benefit our future clients.

  • Reccelerate were retained in late 2017 to identify and onboard a new Country Managing Director for a high profile search business with close to 20 years of operation in Kuala Lumpur. Understanding the local business practices, culture, competitor landscape as well as being able to take a long established business and drive transformation and change were all critical requirements for our client. This was an interesting search for many reasons nothwithstanding it being Reccelerate's first R2R project for Malaysia (suffice to say we are much better prepared for the next one with our new found experiences). A search at this level usually takes between 4-6 months to complete - Reccelerate delivered in just under 4 months from identification through to reference checks.

  • Reccelerate were retained by one the the APAC regions largest recruitment businesses to identify and onboard an experienced FMCG recruiter for the Singapore office. The newly created opportunity was a planned hire and part of the companies wider hiring strategy to build a solid team of expert recruiters able to provide comprehensive coverage of Consumer markets. From commencement to delivery the search took approximately 6 weeks - including face to face screening and thorough reference checks. Our client is now able to cover all sub sectors of Consumer from FMCG, Retail and Luxury, Consumer Electronics, Sales and Marketing, Travel Retail.

  • Reccelerate has placed their second healthcare and life sciences recruiter into Vietnam following a relatively brief search (helped by the strong base of candidates developed in our first search). The new starter will work with the previous candidate that we placed following their promotion to team leader. Reccelerate have been engaged for a 3rd time to seek another experienced bilingual healthcare recruiter to be based in HCMC. End to end this particular assignment took just over 4 weeks to finalise.

  • Reccelerate places its 3rd research professional with global top 5 retained executive search business. The new joiner will be responsible for supporting the Financial Services team which is jointly headed by two of South East Asia's most experienced and impactful FS consultants with a combined experience of close to 40 years. The finalist was identified following a search process which was very thorough and involved 8 stages over 3 months. The new incumbent is already making significant contributions on several high level retained assignments with a combined value north of USD300,000.

  • Reccelerate has now placed several talented and experienced recruiters into one of the South East Asia regions fastest and most exciting markets - Vietnam! The team delivered this latest placement in under 2 months in what is proving to be an increasingly competitive market where loyalty, humbleness and an eagerness to develop professionally and personally are at the core of the culture. The client (a large regional search business) will be supporting the newly appointed recruiter in further developing their Human Resources practice as they continue to invest heavily in Vietnam.

  • Reccelerate have recently completed yet another retained search assignment into the regions largest Executive Search business. The new Senior Consultant will join a 5 strong team with a combined experience in excess of 40 years in Healthcare & Life Sciences recruitment. The search required the Reccelerate team to identify a candidate with specific skills in Pharmaceutical and Clinical Research - after shortlisting a number of high potential candidates in Singapore the finalist was identified. ​The search took 4 weeks end to end.

  • Reccelerate recently placed a new Head of helthcare & Life Sciences into Asia's largest search business. The new Head brings with her more than 12 years of recruitment experience serving multinational pharmaceutical companies as well as regionally based R&D, Clinical Research, Consumer Healthcare, Medical Deivce and Biotechnology.

    Leading an already successful team of experienced recruiters the firm is confident that they will now be able to reach previously unexplored emerging markets as well as further strengthen cross selling opportunities in the region.

  • Reccelerate were proud to be recently engaged by one of the top 5 search businesses to identify a talented and experienced senior research executive for their financial services business. Based in the highly competitive Hong Kong market the Reccelerate team were able to short list and present eight highly skilled candidates within four weeks. Following an extensive and thorough interview process which involved a team of six stakeholders located in Hong Kong, Singapore, and London we were able to assist our client in confirming a finalist.   • Founded in 2010 our client leveraged their years of experience to quickly establish one of the fastest growing insurance and techonology recruitment businesses, employing more than 100 consultants across the UK, Hong Kong and Singapore within their first 4 years in operation.

    In mid 2015 one of the founding members of the group approached Reccelerate Hong Kong seeking advice and guidance on the challenges faced by mid-sized agencies looking to attract top talents at the mid to senior level. The client was suitable impressed with the research and sound advice provided by the Reccelerate team in Hong Kong and a retained R2R agreement duly followed.

    Officially retained in October 2015 Reccelerate were tasked with identifying a senior Country Director for the clients Hong Kong business. Having already established themselves as one of the few significant players in the insurance and technology recruitmenet space the Reccelerate team faced some very immediate challenges in trying to identify a senior manager from within a very niche sector of recruiting.

    Working closely with the Managing Director based in Hong Kong we were able to draw upon our depth of knowledge in local markets to identify a number of experienced candidates within a 2-3 week timeframe. Following several rounds of interview and assessment Reccelerate managed to assist the client in narrowing the pool down to one successful finalist.
